– Branch Operations Executive

Location: Belgaum (Belagavi), Karnataka

Department: Operations

Reporting To: Branch Manager / Operations Manager

Job Purpose To ensure smooth branch operations, compliance with approved SOPs, accurate documentation, effective internal controls, and timely escalation of operational exceptions.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure adherence to branch operational policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
- Verify customer membership, KYC, account opening, and account maintenance documentation.
- Monitor SB/RD/FD transactions, maturity, renewal, closure, nominations, and death claims.
- Ensure proper maker-checker controls, voucher verification, cash handling, vault security, and daily reconciliation.
- Maintain security stationery, statutory registers, and operational records.
- Manage locker documentation, access records, rent, death claims, and break-open procedures.
- Handle court orders and attachment instructions as per authorised procedures.




- Track audit observations and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Monitor customer requests and ensure adherence to prescribed turnaround times.
- Prepare operational MIS, exception reports, and compliance records.
- Identify and promptly escalate operational, cash, security, and compliance risks.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in any discipline; banking or finance background preferred.
- Experience in banking, co-operative banking, or financial services operations.
- Knowledge of KYC, deposit operations, cash handling, and branch processes.
- Strong documentation, verification, communication, and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify operational risks.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
