About the Role :

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented NACH & Payments Associate to manage mandate operations, auto-debit presentations, digital payments, collections, reconciliations and payment-related issues. You will keep our payment flows accurate, timely and compliant, and resolve issues quickly with banks, payment partners and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Mandates and auto-debit

- Handle day-to-day NACH, ECS, eMandate and UPI AutoPay operations. • Monitor auto-debit presentations, payment transactions, collections and transaction statuses.
- Track mandate registrations, rejections, cancellations and debit bounce cases.

Reconciliation and issue resolution :

- Perform payment reconciliation and investigate transaction mismatches and settlement discrepancies.
- Track refunds, reversals, failed transactions and duplicate payments.
- Coordinate with banks, payment gateway partners and internal teams to resolve operational and technical issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of pending cases and accurate payment status updates.

Reporting and compliance :





- Prepare and maintain MIS reports on payments, collections, mandates and reconciliations.
- Maintain operational records and ensure compliance with applicable banking and NPCI guidelines.

Required Skills :

- Working knowledge of NACH, ECS, eMandate, UPI AutoPay and digital payment operations.
- Understanding of payment reconciliation, collections, refunds and settlements. •

Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Good analytical, communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

Positive to Have :

- Hands-on experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables or basic SQL for reconciliation.
- Experience working directly with partner banks or payment gateways. • Familiarity with NPCI circulars and mandate lifecycle rules.

Qualification :

- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in Fintech, NBFC, Banking or Payment Operations preferred.
