Role Description The Multi-Skilled Technician at Radisson Hotel Group in Bengaluru is a full time, on-site role focused on maintaining the hotel’s facilities and systems in safe, efficient working order. In this position, the technician performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across multiple disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry to support smooth hotel operations. The role involves responding to guest and team requests for technical support, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring minimal downtime for key services.





The technician coordinates with the engineering and operations teams, maintains accurate maintenance records, and follows safety, environmental, and brand standards. This role also supports sustainability initiatives by optimizing energy usage, adhering to green practices, and contributing to a well-maintained, comfortable environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with tools, equipment troubleshooting, and routine preventive maintenance in a hotel or similar facility environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety procedures, and maintenance documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with operations, housekeeping, and front office teams.
- Commitment to guest service, safety, and quality, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and minimizing disruption.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work orders, updating maintenance records, and following internal reporting processes.
- Relevant vocational training, technical diploma, or certification in engineering, maintenance, or a related field; prior hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards, with an interest in sustainable practices and energy-efficient operations.
