To supervise and control daily melting operations, ensuring production targets, metal quality, safety standards, and furnace efficiency are achieved as per production requirements.

- Supervise daily melting operations, including furnace charging, melting, temperature control, and metal tapping.

- Ensure the correct selection and weighing of raw materials, scrap, returns, alloys, and additives.

- Monitor and control chemical composition and melting temperature as per grade requirements.

- Coordinate with the Quality Control team for spectrometer testing and chemical composition verification.

- Ensure proper furnace operation, refractory condition, and preventive maintenance.

- Plan furnace charging schedules to achieve daily production targets.

- Monitor melting cycle time, metal yield, power consumption, and melting losses.





- Ensure proper molten metal transfer and pouring coordination with the production team.

- Maintain records of furnace operations, raw material consumption, temperature, production, and rejection.

- Identify and reduce melting defects, oxidation losses, slag formation, and metal wastage.

- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.

- Train, guide, and monitor melting operators and helpers.

- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and production departments.

- Take corrective action for abnormalities in furnace operation and melting quality.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
