Job Responsibilities:

- Accurately assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes to patient records
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Review and verify documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on coding practices

Qualifications:





- Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
- Coding experience preferred not required
- Proficiency in ICD-10 CM, CPT, PCS, HCPCTs
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
