We are looking for experienced Mechanical Professionals at Engineer, Senior Engineer and Manager levels to join our Greenfield Steel Project.

The selected candidates will be responsible for mechanical project execution, installation, erection, commissioning and maintenance readiness of various mechanical equipment and systems associated with steel plant operations.

Candidates with experience in Greenfield / Brownfield steel plant projects, equipment installation, project execution and commissioning will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & Site Coordination

- Execute mechanical engineering and construction activities as per approved project schedules and specifications.
- Coordinate equipment installation, erection, alignment, testing and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned mechanical packages.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and internal project teams.

1. Mechanical Equipment & Installation

- Handle mechanical equipment installation and commissioning activities for steel plant facilities.
- Exposure to equipment such as Rolling Mill Machinery, Steel Melting Shop (SMS), Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), Induction Furnace, Conveyors, Crushers, Pumps, Compressors, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems.
- Handle material handling systems, cooling towers, water treatment systems, cranes, piping networks and associated utilities.
- Ensure proper equipment alignment, inspection,



testing and performance validation.

1. Engineering & Technical Coordination

- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, vendor documents and installation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.

1. Contractor & Project Management

- Monitor contractor performance, manpower deployment and work progress.
- Verify work measurements, contractor bills and project documentation.
- Track material availability, project milestones and execution schedules.
- Identify project bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

1. Safety & Quality

- Ensure adherence to EHS standards and site safety procedures.
- Maintain construction quality and ensure compliance with approved technical specifications.
- Participate in project review meetings, commissioning activities and project handover.

Required Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in steel plants, heavy engineering, industrial projects or manufacturing projects.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical project execution, erection, installation and commissioning.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, equipment specifications, contractor management and project coordination.
- Experience in Greenfield / Brownfield projects will be an added advantage.
