Position: Mechanical Engineer (Project Execution)

Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 5-8 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5-8 years of relevant industrial project execution experience. The candidate should be capable of independently handling Mechanical & Electrical work, Firefighting system, Structure/tank fabrication & PEB erection, Equipment erection, Electrical coordination, Project planning & Control, Drawing review, MEP and project monitoring activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, contractor management, and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Execution and supervision of mechanical piping works.
- Planning and execution of UG and Above ground storage tank fabrication, erection activities.
- PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) erection and coordination.
- Firefighting system installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Equipment erection, alignment, and commissioning activities.
- Structural and piping fabrication work management.
- Preparation and monitoring of project schedules.
- Preparation of DPR (Daily Progress Report), DLR (Daily Labour Report), Weekly & Monthly MIS Reports.
- Quantity verification, contractor billing verification, and progress tracking.
- Coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Monitoring safety, quality, and project timelines.
- Handling electrical project execution and coordination activities.
- Ensuring project completion within planned budget and schedule.

· Work with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery. · Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and other mechanical equipment.

· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure mechanical / Electrical work meets project standards.





· Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company health and safety policies.

· Identify and implement initiatives to improve project efficiency and quality.

Software Knowledge

Mandatory:

- MS Excel
- MS Word
- AutoCAD
- SAP or ERP

Preferred:

- Primavera P6
- MS Project

Desired Skills

- Strong project execution and site management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple contractors and activities simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of piping, tanks, firefighting, fabrication, PEB, and equipment erection.
- Knowledge of project planning, cost control, and reporting systems.
- Strong communication and team management skills.

· Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements. · Oversee the procurement of mechanical equipment and materials, maintaining quality standards and meeting project specifications.

· Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, ensuring successful execution of mechanical tasks.

· Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Preference

Candidates with Contractor firm experience in industrial Warehousing, infrastructure, chemical, petrochemical, tank farm, Liquid terminal, or manufacturing projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
