- Supervise machine assembly operations as per production plans and engineering specifications.
- Achieve production targets through effective resource utilization and workflow optimization.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments for seamless execution of assembly projects.
- Lead, train, and manage assembly technicians and shop-floor manpower.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, inspections, testing, and customer requirements.
- Maintain a safe work workplace and ensure compliance with EHS and statutory regulations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements to minimize assembly defects.
- Drive Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives while ensuring equipment readiness.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-5 years of experience in machine assembly, industrial equipment manufacturing, conveyor systems, packaging machinery, automation equipment, or similar industries
- Experience in Auto CAD drawings.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, GA drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with bearings, gearboxes, drives, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems
