Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement and contracting for project, civil, structural, infrastructure, and industrial packages.
- Lead vendor sourcing, tendering, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Handle BOQ/Item Rate, Lump Sum, and Rate Contracts.
- Execute procurement for CAPEX, OPEX, MRO, spares, and consumables.
- Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, project schedules, LD, bank guarantees, taxes, and statutory clauses.
- Prepare commercial recommendations and obtain internal approvals for contracts and purchase orders.
- Draft, review, and administer commercial contracts and key contractual terms.
- Manage post-order activities including delivery tracking, vendor coordination, payment follow-up,



claim settlement, and account reconciliation.
- Operate SAP MM for procurement transactions, reporting, LC requests, and purchase order management.
- Maintain procurement MIS and analytical reports using Advanced Excel.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Project Procurement within the Steel Industry.
- Strong exposure to procurement of project packages, contracts, MRO items, spares, and consumables.
- Proven experience in independently handling the complete procurement cycle.
- Sound understanding of commercial contracts and major contractual clauses.
- Advanced hands-on experience in SAP MM.
- Solid proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Experience in techno-commercial evaluation and vendor negotiations.
