Role Description The Manager – Packing & Dispatch role is a remote, contract position responsible for overseeing daily packing and dispatch operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant shipment of products. The role includes planning and coordinating packing schedules, monitoring inventory availability, and aligning dispatch activities with customer orders and delivery commitments. The manager supervises packing and dispatch teams, ensures adherence to quality, food safety, and packaging standards, and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.





Daily activities include tracking order status, coordinating with production, warehousing, logistics, and customer service teams, maintaining documentation and records, and resolving operational issues. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, supporting audits and compliance checks, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Key requirements

- Experience in Food/FMCG manufacturing, particularly pouch, cup and bowl packing operations.
- Strong experience managing complete packing and dispatch operations.
- Ability to manage daily production targets, line efficiency, OEE and manpower utilization.
- Experience in customer-wise and PO-wise dispatch planning, container loading and order fulfilment.
- Knowledge of finished goods inventory, FIFO/FEFO, stock reconciliation and material wastage control.
- Ability to lead supervisors and dispatch teams.
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP and quality compliance.
- Experience in controlling packing costs, downtime, rejection and dispatch delays.
- Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Operations, Production or Supply Chain Management.
