MANAGER/ SENIOR MANAGER – CASH FLOW Location: Mumbai Department: Operations Reporting To: Head of Operations About LIC Mutual Fund LIC Mutual Fund is one of India's established asset management companies, backed by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The organization offers a diverse range of investment solutions across equity, debt, hybrid, and passive categories, serving retail and institutional investors nationwide.

Role Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end cash flow operations for Mutual Fund schemes, ensuring timely processing, monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting of all fund-related cash transactions. The role requires close coordination with Fund Accounting, Treasury, Investment, Custodian, RTA, Banking Partners, and Compliance teams to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities 1.

Cash Flow

Management • Monitor and manage daily cash flows across all mutual fund schemes.

- Track subscription, redemption, dividend, switch, and expense-related cash movements.
- Ensure adequate liquidity availability for scheme obligations and settlements.
- Coordinate with Fund Managers and Treasury teams regarding inflows, outflows, and liquidity requirements.
- Banking & Fund Operations • Oversee scheme bank account operations and cash position monitoring.
- Ensure timely processing of investment and redemption-related fund transfers.
- Manage interactions with banking partners for transaction execution and issue resolution.
- Monitor and verify bank charges, interest accruals, and other banking transactions.
- Reconciliation & Controls • Perform daily reconciliation of scheme bank accounts and cash balances.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and outstanding items.




- Implement operational controls to mitigate risks and ensure transaction accuracy.
- Maintain audit trails and support internal and statutory audits. 4.

Stakeholder

Coordination • Liaise with Custodians, RTAs, Fund Accounting teams, Trustees, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Investment and Dealing teams for funding requirements.
- Support regulatory reporting and data submissions related to cash and banking operations. 5.

Process

Improvement • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
- Drive operational efficiency initiatives and strengthen risk controls.
- Participate in system implementation, testing, and process transition projects. Eligibility &

Experience • MBA Finance / CA / CFA / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

- 8-15 years of experience in Mutual Fund / AMC Operations.
- Strong experience in cash flow operations, fund accounting, treasury operations, or investment operations within an AMC.
- Experience handling multiple scheme bank accounts and large transaction volumes.
- Valuable understanding of SEBI Mutual Fund Regulations and operational processes.
- Desired Skills • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Knowledge of mutual fund operations, settlements, and fund accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel and operational systems used in AMCs.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight timelines.
- Strong problem-solving and process-oriented mindset.

Preferred Candidate

Profile • Candidates currently working in Mutual Funds/AMCs.
- Exposure to end-to-end scheme cash flow management.
- Experience in small-to-mid-sized AMCs will be preferred due to broader operational exposure.
