Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of product features and engineering solutions.
- Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions to build scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.
- Work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define technical solutions.
- Lead development activities, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Build and maintain high-performance backend services, APIs, and application components.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and overall product quality.
- Mentor and guide engineers, encourage technical excellence, and support their professional development.
- Drive engineering standards, documentation, testing practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
- Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring alignment with product goals and business priorities.

Required Candidate Profile :

- Robust experience in software engineering and product development.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Java,



Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or similar.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
- Experience designing and developing scalable applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of databases, system architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and deployment practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, QA, and business teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience building and scaling customer-facing or enterprise software products.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Understanding of application security, performance optimisation, and observability.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
