Role Summary

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot for a complex banking environment. Collaborate with front-end developers and participate in agile teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. Ensure code quality and support CI/CD deployment pipelines.

What Youll Do

- Develop backend services and APIs using Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions for banking applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate services and ensure seamless data flow
- Perform advanced database operations and optimization on Oracle DB
- Champion code quality through JUnit testing and code reviews
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab




- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and logs using Splunk
- Proactively solve problems and suggest improvements
- Participate in daily agile scrum calls

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Solid expertise in Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Proven experience with Oracle DB, including complex queries and performance tuning
- Experience with CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Expertise in unit testing with JUnit and commitment to TDD
- Experience in agile methodology
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like Angular is highly beneficial

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience in banking or financial services domain
- Knowledge of AI concepts and interest in business automation
- Experience with additional monitoring tools besides Splunk
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive mindset, ability to work independently, and mentor junior team members
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven/Gradle, Git, and code review
