Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Logistics Planning Engineer with 2–8 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing material flow, logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes to ensure smooth production and efficient material handling.

The ideal candidate should have experience in automotive logistics planning, material flow optimization, warehouse management, and production supply processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and optimize material flow from suppliers to manufacturing and assembly lines.
- Develop logistics strategies for efficient material movement and supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams.
- Plan inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation and material deliveries.
- Ensure timely availability of components and materials to support production requirements.
- Perform material flow analysis and optimize logistics routes and processes.




- Support warehouse layout planning, storage optimization, and inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels, material shortages, and supply chain performance.
- Develop logistics concepts for new vehicle projects and manufacturing facilities.
- Identify bottlenecks in material handling and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare logistics reports, KPIs, and performance analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain operations.

Required Technical Skills
- Positive understanding of automotive logistics and supply chain management.
- Experience in material flow planning and logistics optimization.
- Knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Understanding of warehouse management and inventory control.
- Knowledge of production logistics and line-side material supply.
- Experience in material handling systems and logistics planning.
- Understanding of milk-run concepts, Kanban, JIT and JIS.
- Knowledge of logistics KPIs, cycle time, and inventory management.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and SAP / ERP systems.
- Knowledge of CAD tools for warehouse layout and logistics planning will be an added advantage.
