Roles

- Manage and organise the library's daily operations.

- Assist students and staff in accessing books, learning materials, and other resources.

- Maintain a well-organised, welcoming, and resourceful library environment.

- Promote reading habits and encourage independent learning among students.

Responsibilities

- Manage the issuing, returning, and renewal of books and other library materials.

- Maintain and update library records, catalogues, and databases.

- Organise books, journals, magazines, and reference materials systematically.

- Assist students and teachers in locating relevant books and learning resources.

- Monitor library usage and ensure proper handling of library materials.

- Maintain discipline and a quiet, comfortable reading environment.

- Coordinate reading programmes, book exhibitions, and library activities.





- Track inventory and recommend new books and educational resources.

- Ensure the library is clean, organised, and accessible.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc.), any relevant field, or a recognised certification in Library Science or Library Management.

- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with library management software.

- Positive organisational and communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.

- Friendly, patient, and approachable attitude.

- Passion for books, reading, and education.

- 1-5 years of experience

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
