- Strong banking/domain knowledge is valuable, but hands-on data analysis and modelling capability is the key discriminator.
- Demonstrable SQL proficiency for data profiling, reconciliation, investigation, and root-cause analysis.
- Able to translate business and data requirements into BRDs/FRDs, epics, capabilities, features, user stories and transparent acceptance criteria.
- Strong conceptual and logical data modelling skills, including entities, relationships, and business definitions.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping and transformation rules across complex data landscapes.

Desired Skills -
- Practical experience defining Data Quality rules, identifying exceptions, and driving remediation
- Strong understanding of data lineage and authoritative source identification.
- Evidence of working hands-on with Data Products, shaping the underlying data rather than primarily managing the backlog.
- Comfortable with backlog refinement, feature mapping, PI/Agile ceremonies, Definition of Ready/Done, testing and defect triage.

Exposure to modern data platforms such as Snowflake / Databricks / cloud data ecosystems is highly desirable
