Job Summary The Lead – NPD will manage end-to-end procurement, sourcing, and vendor management to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of materials across all DC locations. The role will oversee vendor onboarding, negotiations, rate approvals, purchase orders, inventory planning, GRN, invoice verification, and vendor payments while ensuring procurement compliance, cost optimization, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of quality materials at competitive costs.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard vendors; manage vendor relationships and performance.
- Manage the NPD Gantt Chart, tracking vendor finalization, rate approvals, and procurement milestones.
- Ensure accurate rate approvals, PO creation, documentation, and compliance with procurement policies.
- Monitor inventory levels, support demand planning, and ensure optimal stock availability across DCs.
- Oversee GRN verification, invoice matching, vendor reconciliations,



and timely payment coordination with Finance.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Category teams for seamless procurement.
- Drive cost optimization, process improvements, and procurement audit compliance.

Key Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably in FMCG, Food, Manufacturing, or Distribution.
- Hands-on experience in vendor negotiations, onboarding, rate approvals, PO management, and cost control.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, GRN, invoice verification, and vendor payments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and ERP/procurement systems.
- Robust negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good ownership, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
