Role & responsibilities

Asset Management

- Oversee the management of the company's asset portfolio, ensuring assets are performing at optimal levels and generating expected returns.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies that optimize lifecycle performance and financial returns.
- Continuously monitor and analyze asset performance data, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Implement advanced monitoring tools and systems to enhance asset performance tracking.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs of assets.
- Develop maintenance schedules and protocols to prolong asset life and reduce downtime.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of assets, from acquisition through operation to eventual disposition.
- Make strategic decisions regarding asset upgrades, replacements, and dispositions.

Risk Management

- Identify financial risks associated with projects and asset management, evaluating their potential impact on the company's financial health.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement strategies to mitigate identified financial risks, including insurance, hedging, and diversification.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential financial crises or disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including local, national, and international financial reporting requirements.




- Stay informed of changes in financial regulations and adjust strategies accordingly.

Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain solid relationships with current and potential investors.
- Provide transparent, regular updates to investors, fostering trust and confidence.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, legal, and environmental, to ensure alignment between financial goals and project objectives.
- Serve as a financial advisor to project teams, offering insights and guidance on financial matters.
- Serve as a key financial advisor to senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Participate in executive meetings and contribute to overall company strategic planning.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1015 years in project financing, asset management, or financial planning within the renewable energy sector, preferably solar.
