About Position:

We are looking for a skilled LaTeX & Adobe InDesign Developer with strong experience in JavaScript, XML, and document automation. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated publishing workflows, creating complex document layouts, and processing structured XML content for high-quality print and digital publications.

What You'll Do:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex documents and templates using LaTeX.
- Create and automate page layouts and publishing workflows using Adobe InDesign.
- Develop JavaScript/ExtendScript scripts for InDesign automation and repetitive publishing tasks.
- Process and transform structured content using XML, XSLT, XPath, and related technologies.
- Import and map XML content into InDesign templates.
- Create reusable templates, styles, scripts, and automated publishing solutions.
- Troubleshoot formatting, pagination, fonts, tables, equations, cross-references, and document-generation issues.
- Work with large and complex documents such as books, journals, manuals, reports, and technical publications.
- Maintain consistency across print and digital outputs while following publishing and typography standards.
- Collaborate with editorial, content, production, and development teams to optimize publishing workflows.
- Perform quality checks on automated document outputs and resolve layout or content-conversion defects.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Strong hands-on experience with LaTeX/TeX.
- Robust experience with Adobe InDesign.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript,



preferably Adobe ExtendScript/InDesign scripting.
- Strong understanding of XML and structured content.
- Experience with XSLT and XPath.
- Good understanding of document composition, typography, pagination, and publishing workflows.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated document-generation solutions.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
