Description

• Perform a minimum of 20 diagnostic tests per day as required by the Medical Officer.

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including Semi-Auto Hematology Analyzer, Semi-Auto Biochemistry Analyzer, Centrifuge, Hemoglobinometer, and Glucometer.
- Conduct Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs) for Malaria, Typhoid, Dengue, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, VDRL/RPR, and HIV 1&2.
- Collect blood, urine, and other samples following standard protocols.
- Perform CBC, blood sugar, blood urea, serum creatinine, cholesterol,



bilirubin, liver function tests as required.
- Screen for anemia, diabetes, hypertension, and other NCDs as per CBAC protocols.
- Maintain laboratory registers, test records, and consumable stock registers.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory waste as per biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Arrange and maintain adequate stocks of consumables, reagents, and RDT kits.
- Report all laboratory findings and statistics on the MMU portal as required.
