Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility Centre is seeking a qualified, skilled, and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory procedures, handling specimens, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and process laboratory samples according to established protocols.
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures as per assigned responsibilities.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory.
- Ensure the confidentiality of patient information and laboratory reports.

Requirements

- Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT)
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, sample collection, and handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare workplace.
- Previous experience in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, or fertility centres will be an added advantage.
