About the Role

Aviv Digital Academy is looking for a passionate and creative Junior UI/UX Trainer with at least 1 year of professional experience in UI/UX design.

The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of user-centered design, Figma, AI-powered design tools, and practical UI/UX workflows, along with an interest in mentoring aspiring designers.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical UI/UX training sessions following the academy's curriculum.
- Teach UX fundamentals, design thinking, user research, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Train students in visual design principles, usability heuristics, and Figma.
- Demonstrate the practical use of AI tools in UI/UX design workflows.
- Guide students through assignments, design exercises, and mini-projects.
- Review student designs and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in portfolio development and capstone projects.
- Monitor student progress and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior trainers to maintain training quality.

Required Skills

UI/UX Design

- UX design processes, frameworks, and user-centered design.
- User research, personas, user journeys,



and information architecture.
- Wireframing, user flows, and prototyping.
- UX laws, usability heuristics, and visual design principles.

Design Tools

- Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, and prototyping.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Understanding of responsive design.

AI Tools & Workflows (Mandatory)

- Practical knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Figma Make, or similar platforms.
- Ability to use AI for UX research support, ideation, content generation, and design exploration.
- Understanding of AI-assisted UI generation and prototyping.
- Ability to integrate AI tools into everyday design workflows.

Additional Skills

- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge preferred.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain design concepts clearly.
- Interest in teaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of professional UI/UX or product design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating practical design skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools in design workflows.
- Previous mentoring or teaching experience is an advantage, not mandatory.
