Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Civil Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Junior Civil

Engineer will support project execution from design through completion, assisting with site inspections, preparing drawings and reports, and coordinating with senior engineers, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities include contributing to civil engineering design, supporting planning and scheduling activities, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role involves reviewing technical documents, assisting in quantity estimation and material planning, and helping implement sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Engineer will also provide documentation support, maintain project records, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design for industrial, warehousing, and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Planning to support project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of site activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Stormwater Management to contribute to drainage design, site grading, and sustainable water systems.
- Candidates should be trained Civil Engineers with a solid understanding of construction practices, building codes, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, basic structural analysis tools; exposure to BIM is an advantage).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with site staff and project stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in office at project locations in and around Chennai and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
