Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payment systems and a strong understanding of the BFSI domain, with the ability to develop secure, scalable, and high-performance financial applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 8 and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance microservices-based applications for payment processing systems.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate internal and external payment services.
- Work on payment processing workflows, transaction management, and financial application integrations.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance transaction processing.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
- Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and write unit and integration tests.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and agile development activities.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8 features, including Streams, Lambda Expressions,



and the Date and Time API.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
- Strong experience in Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience in payment systems or payment processing applications.
- Positive understanding of the BFSI domain, including banking or financial services workflows.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of exception handling, multithreading, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Good to Have

- Experience with payment gateways, payment orchestration, or transaction processing.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Understanding of payment security, transaction reconciliation, and idempotency.
