IT Support Engineer (L2)

About Client:

Client builds and runs software and IT services for logistics and healthcare clients in the US. Our engineering team is in Hyderabad and works in small squads with direct ownership.

About the role:

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to run day-to-day IT operations for internal and the clients we manage. You will resolve support tickets, administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, manage devices through Intune, and keep our asset and license records accurate. The role is hands-on and operations-focused, working within a small infrastructure team.

Responsibilities:

- Handle support tickets end to end within agreed SLAs; attend priority-1 incidents at any time on an on-call rotation
- Manage user accounts, groups, licences and access in Entra ID and Microsoft 365
- Administer Exchange Online: mailboxes,



shared mailboxes, mail-flow and anti-phishing settings
- Enrol and manage Windows and macOS devices in Intune; maintain compliance and security baselines
- Set up devices for new joiners and handle leavers
- Maintain asset, licence and Azure resource inventories; produce monthly health and usage reports
- Carry out security configuration tasks assigned by the cloud engineers (Defender onboarding, MFA and Conditional Access changes, audit remediation items)
- Document procedures and keep runbooks current

Requirements:

- 3–5 years in IT support or systems administration in a Microsoft 365 environment
- Hands-on Entra ID, Intune and Exchange Online administration
- Experience with a ticketing tool and SLA-based support
- Clear written and spoken English; comfortable supporting US-based users
- Working hours are 11:00 am – 8:00 pm IST to support US Eastern time clients; P1 on-call outside these hours on rotation

Good to have:

- MD-102 or MS-102 certification
- Azure portal basics: resource groups, storage, NSGs, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud
- Microsoft Purview (sensitivity labels, DLP)
- PowerShell or Graph API for bulk administration
