Position Summary
NetWeb Software is looking for an Integration Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable integrations between internal applications, enterprise systems, products, and third-party platforms. The role has a strong hands-on focus on C#, .NET, SQL Server, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), with responsibility for application-to-application connectivity, ETL workflows, data exchange, and production support.
The engineer will work with engineering, product, business, operations, and customer-facing teams to understand integration requirements, translate them into technical designs and implementation plans, and deliver solutions that maintain data accuracy, reliability,
performance, and security throughout the integration lifecycle. Integrations may use REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, messaging mechanisms, scheduled jobs, and file-based exchanges. Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design and Development
· Design, develop, implement, and maintain application integrations using C#, .NET, APIs, webhooks, messaging mechanisms, and file-based data exchange. · Connect internal applications and services with third-party platforms and enterprise systems, including CRM, ERP, identity, and other business applications.
· Translate business and functional requirements into technical integration designs, data flows, interface specifications, and implementation plans.
· Select and implement appropriate integration patterns to support reliable and maintainable system-to-system communication.
SSIS and ETL Development
· Design, develop, configure, deploy, and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). · Build and support ETL workflows that move data between databases, applications, files, and external systems.
· Implement data mapping, cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation rules to maintain data completeness and accuracy.
· Configure package parameters, connection managers, control flows, data flows, and error-handling mechanisms as required by integration workflows.
· Troubleshoot SSIS package execution issues and improve package reliability, performance, and maintainability.
API and Data Exchange
· Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services and integrate systems through APIs, webhooks, and file-based interfaces.
· Work with JSON and XML payloads, including serialization, deserialization, schema validation, and transformation.
· Implement and support API authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, API keys, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
· Build robust data exchange processes with appropriate validation, exception handling, retries, and recovery mechanisms.
Database Development and Data Management
· Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures that support integration and ETL workflows. · Apply sound relational database concepts and understand table relationships, keys, transactions, and data integrity.
· Investigate data inconsistencies, missing or duplicate records, transformation errors, and reconciliation mismatches across connected systems.
· Work with database teams and application owners to analyze data issues and implement corrective actions.
Reliability, Monitoring, and Production Support
· Build resilient integrations with appropriate error handling, retry and recovery logic, structured logging, and monitoring. · Monitor scheduled jobs, SSIS executions, interfaces, and integration services to identify failures and abnormal processing.
· Troubleshoot integration failures, data inconsistencies, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity or authentication issues; identify root causes and implement fixes.
· Support production deployments and ongoing operations, including incident investigation, resolution, and follow-up improvements.
· Contribute to observability and support practices that improve visibility into integration health, execution status, and failure patterns.
Quality, Deployment, and Continuous Improvement
· Contribute to code reviews, unit and integration testing, automated testing, defect resolution, and release readiness. · Use version control and follow established branching, build, deployment, and CI/CD practices.
· Support integration deployment, configuration management, environment validation, and post-deployment verification.
· Identify opportunities to improve integration performance, reliability, maintainability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Collaboration, Documentation, and Governance
· Collaborate with product, engineering, business, operations, and customer teams to clarify requirements, coordinate dependencies, and deliver integration projects.
· Document integration architecture, interface specifications, configurations, data mappings, data flows, dependencies, and operational procedures.
· Prepare and maintain support documentation, troubleshooting steps, deployment notes, and knowledge-transfer material.
· Follow organizational security, privacy, data handling, and compliance requirements when designing and operating integrations.
· Communicate technical concepts, delivery progress, risks, and production issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
· Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including application adapters, integration flows, data mapping, orchestration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. · Exposure to event-driven architecture, message queues, asynchronous processing, or streaming platforms.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
· Exposure to other integration platforms or Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools.
· Knowledge of API security practices, secure credential management, observability, and production support processes.
· Experience working with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, identity management, or other SaaS and on-premises applications.
· Exposure to automated integration testing, performance troubleshooting, and deployment automation.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Integration Engineer with strong C#/.NET, SSIS, and SQL Server skills and practical experience supporting integrations in a production workplace. The candidate should be comfortable working across application,
API, and database layers; translating business needs into dependable technical solutions; and investigating issues through logs, monitoring, data validation, and root-cause analysis. A disciplined approach to secure development, testing,
documentation, deployment, and collaboration is essential. Exposure to OIC, cloud services, or event-driven integration patterns will be an added advantage.
Key Success Measures
· Reliable and accurate data exchange across integrated applications and third-party systems. · SSIS packages and integration workflows are developed, deployed, monitored, and supported effectively.
· Integration failures and data issues are investigated and resolved within agreed support expectations, with root causes addressed.
· Solutions follow established security, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment standards.
· Integration changes are delivered with appropriate validation and minimal disruption to dependent systems.
· Clear communication and effective coordination with engineering, business, operations, and customer-facing teams.
