Role Description This is a partl-time remote role for an Insurance Advisor at HDFC ERGO General Insurance.

The Insurance

Advisor will consult with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable general insurance products across motor, health, travel, home, and other lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining policy features and benefits, handling inquiries, assisting with proposals and documentation, and guiding customers through claims-related processes. The role involves maintaining accurate records in company systems,



following compliance and regulatory guidelines, and coordinating with internal teams such as underwriting and customer support.

The Insurance

Advisor will also contribute to business growth by building long-term customer relationships and supporting sales and retention initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance and Finance to understand products, policy terms, risk, and basic financial concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Consulting and Customer Service to assess customer needs, provide solutions, and ensure a positive service experience.
- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills to explain complex information clearly, manage virtual interactions, and maintain professional correspondence.
- Relevant experience in general insurance sales, financial advisory, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and online communication platforms.
- Educational background in business, finance, or related fields is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
