- Rate Negotiation & Procurement: Negotiate and secure competitive buy rates with international ocean carriers, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas partner agents for import shipments.
- Quotation Management: Prepare and distribute accurate, comprehensive, and timely freight quotations/proposals for sales teams and direct clients covering all elements of import pricing (freight, local charges, customs clearance, and inland haulage).
- Tariff & Contract Maintenance: Maintain, update, and manage rate sheets, carrier contracts, and pricing databases for both air and sea import lanes.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, peak-season surcharges (PSS), emergency risk surcharges (ERS), general rate increases (GRI), and currency fluctuations to anticipate cost changes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with the Sales team to understand client requirements and design tailored pricing solutions for complex or high-volume import tenders and RFQs.
- Operational Handover: Ensure smooth handover of finalized winning quotations and commercial terms to the import operations team for execution.
- Cost & Margin Analysis: Review job files and billing reports to evaluate actual costs versus quoted estimates, ensuring healthy profit margins on all handled import routes.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
