Our site teams coordinate engineering, procurement, subcontractors and installation through to testing and handover.

About the role

We are hiring an HVAC Engineer to oversee the on-site installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems for cleanroom construction projects. The engineer will coordinate with the client, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver systems that meet the approved drawings, project specifications and cleanroom performance requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Review HVAC layouts, shop drawings, equipment schedules and BOQs. Check site dimensions, installation clearances and conflicts before work starts.
- Supervise installation of air handling units (AHUs), ductwork, insulation, dampers, HEPA filter housings, chilled-water piping and controls as applicable to the project.
- Coordinate HVAC works with cleanroom wall and ceiling panels, electrical services, fire protection and process utilities. Check that service penetrations are properly sealed.
- Plan daily work, allocate subcontractor manpower, track material deliveries and report progress or delays to the Project Manager.




- Inspect materials and installations against approved submittals, drawings and quality requirements. Maintain inspection records and close outstanding work items.
- Coordinate testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB), controls checks and commissioning. Support cleanroom qualification, including airflow, room pressure differential, temperature, humidity, HEPA filter integrity and particle count testing as specified.
- Prepare as-built drawings, test reports and handover documents. Ensure work follows site safety procedures and permit requirements.

Qualifications and experience

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience supervising HVAC installation on industrial or cleanroom projects. Experience in pharmaceutical, electronics or other controlled-environment facilities is preferred.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings, verify quantities and coordinate installation with other trades.
- Practical understanding of air balancing, room pressurisation, filtration and commissioning.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Excel for drawing review, quantity tracking and site reporting.
