Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced Guidewire Technical Lead/Architect to drive the architecture, design and implementation of enterprise-scale Guidewire solutions. The candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, leading complex Guidewire implementations, managing integrations and ensuring scalability, performance and reliability of insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the technical architecture and solution design for Guidewire implementations.
- Lead end-to-end implementation, customization and integration of Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications.
- Provide architectural guidance across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
- Design scalable and high-performing solutions using Guidewire architecture and development frameworks.
- Drive integration strategy involving REST/SOAP APIs, messaging systems and third-party applications.
- Establish development standards, coding guidelines and architectural best practices.
- Oversee complex Gosu development, configuration and customization activities.
- Lead technical design reviews, architecture discussions and code quality assessments.
- Drive Guidewire version upgrades, migrations and modernization initiatives.
- Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks and recommend appropriate solutions.




- Work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects and delivery leadership.
- Mentor senior developers and technical leads while ensuring successful project delivery.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

- 12 - 15 years of overall IT experience with extensive experience in Guidewire development and architecture.
- Deep expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
- Solid proficiency in Gosu programming, Guidewire configuration and customization.
- Extensive experience in Guidewire integration architecture and enterprise application integrations.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire data models, product models, workflows and application architecture.
- Experience designing scalable solutions using REST APIs, SOAP services and messaging frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, SQL and enterprise application development.
- Experience with Guidewire upgrades, cloud implementations and modernization projects.
- Strong understanding of P&C; insurance business processes.
- Proven experience in technical leadership, solution architecture and stakeholder management.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform, DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-native deployment practices.
