Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Experience: 6+ Years

Mandatory Guidewire Experience: 5+ Years

Preferred Locations: Hyderabad / Chennai, followed by Bengaluru (PAN India candidates may be considered)

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development, configuration, customization and integration.

The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance processes and the ability to develop, enhance and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
- Develop and maintain business rules, workflows and application components using Gosu.
- Work on PCF screens, configuration, data models and PolicyCenter enhancements.
- Develop and support integrations between PolicyCenter and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Perform application debugging, troubleshooting and production issue resolution.
- Support application maintenance, enhancements and defect fixes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams and other developers.




- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and solution design.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure quality, performance and reliability of PolicyCenter applications.

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and customization.
- Good knowledge of Gosu programming.
- Experience with PCF configuration and development.
- Knowledge of Guidewire data model and application architecture.
- Experience in Guidewire integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience in application support, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and client coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Knowledge of P&C; insurance domain and policy lifecycle.
- Guidewire certifications.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience.

Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who have worked as Guidewire PolicyCenter Developers, with substantial hands-on development experience.
