Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Fundraiser at Tribal Connect: Connecting Our Roots. The Fundraiser will be responsible for identifying and cultivating prospective donors, including individuals, institutions, and corporate partners, and building long-term, trust-based relationships. Day-to-day tasks include researching funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, preparing concept notes, and developing compelling fundraising campaigns aligned with Tribal Connect’s mission and programs.

The Fundraiser will coordinate digital fundraising initiatives, manage donor communications, and maintain accurate records of outreach, pledges, and contributions.



This role also involves collaborating closely with program teams to gather impact data, create persuasive narratives, and ensure transparent reporting to donors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Fundraising and donor relations skills, including experience in prospect research, grant writing, and campaign development.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and presentations.
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations, social impact, or community development, ideally with exposure to tribal, rural, or marginalized communities.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and basic digital skills for online fundraising, donor outreach, and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently with high ethical standards and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in fundraising, NGO work, or impact-driven organizations is strongly preferred.
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity and a demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and sustainable development.
