Role: Frontend / UI Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Frontend / UI Engineer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies to design, develop, and evaluate complex frontend engineering tasks based on visual references such as screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, and screen recordings.The role involves translating visual designs into detailed technical specifications, creating challenging coding tasks, developing functional reference implementations, and establishing objective evaluation criteria to assess implementation quality. You will contribute to AI training and evaluation initiatives focused on improving the capabilities of advanced AI models and coding agents.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, and screen recordings to understand interface structures, interactions, and functional requirements.
- Design challenging, multi-step frontend coding tasks using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
- Translate visual references into explicit technical specifications with well-defined expected behaviors.
- Establish objective success criteria and reproducible validation procedures for evaluating task completion.
- Build working reference implementations that demonstrate the expected functionality, design, and user experience.
- Debug, test,



and validate frontend applications to ensure technical accuracy and implementation quality.
- Work with SVG, Canvas, graphics, and interactive UI components to create sophisticated visual experiences.
- Review and evaluate coding tasks submitted by other contributors for technical accuracy, clarity, and verifiability.
- Identify ambiguous or incomplete requirements and improve task specifications to ensure reliable evaluation.
- Contribute to AI training and evaluation workflows by creating high-quality frontend engineering challenges.
- Required Skills and QualificationsStrong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building complex, responsive, and interactive user interfaces.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and frontend architecture.
- Experience working with SVG, Canvas, and graphical interfaces.
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub, with a public profile demonstrating meaningful contributions.
- Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read, modify, and validate existing application code.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to document technical requirements clearly.
- Preferred QualificationsExperience contributing to open-source frontend projects.
- Experience with graphic programming, SVG, Canvas, or data visualization.
- Background in product design or UI/UX design combined with hands-on frontend development.
- Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, coding evaluations, or rubric-based assessment.
