Role Overview: 1-We are looking for an experienced Sr. Executive for Freight Operation and Documentation to manage end-to-end Freight operation and documentation for our freight forwarding desk.

2-The role covers shipment tracking from load port to destination. Track vessel schedules, ETA/ETD and transhipment status daily on carrier portals, port websites and PCS 1x; update the shipment tracker.

3-Checking and releasing shipping documents, and settling freight and local charges with overseas agents, co-loaders and shipping lines on time.

4-Monitor IGM filing, line number allotment and vessel inward entry; share line/item numbers with the CHA for advance Bill of Entry filing.

1. Send pre-alerts and arrival notices to consignees with ETA, container details, CFS/ICD nomination and estimated charges.

6-Inform customers promptly of vessel delays, roll-overs, port congestion or schedule changes. 7- Check draft Bills of Lading (MBL/HBL)

8-Coordinate for corrections and amendments in Bill of lading with overseas agents and shipping lines before final issue and IGM filing.

9-Prepare and issue House Bills of Lading,



Delivery Orders and arrival notices; handle original B/L surrender, telex/Seaway Bill release and bank-endorsed B/L verification.

10-Collect KYC documents and authorization letters from consignees before releasing the Delivery Order.

11-Coordinate IGM/CGM filing and amendments with the line where applicable.

12-Maintain accurate physical and digital shipment files of Freight work for audit and customs queries.

1. Update all Freight job details in the company ERP / freight software and shipment trackers in real time.

14.Prepare daily arrival reports, pending-DO lists, outstanding payables/receivables 15- Maintaining DSR (Daily status Report) for all Freight enquiries received, enquiries converted into success and our quotation failed. Reason of failure to be recorded in DSR.

Education

- Graduate in any discipline
- Diploma or certificate in Shipping, Logistics, EXIM or Freight Forwarding is an added advantage.

Experience

- 3 to 5 years in import documentation with a freight forwarder, NVOCC, shipping agency or CHA, preferably at JNPT / Mumbai.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
