Role Description As a Freelance Full Stack Developer at Superfan.ng, you will work on both front-end and back-end features that power our African language and culture learning platform. You will develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications, implement responsive user interfaces, and ensure seamless integration between the client and server sides. You will collaborate with product and design partners to translate requirements into efficient, secure, and maintainable code, and you will help optimize performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.

This is a full-time remote role, offering flexibility while requiring consistent availability, proactive communication, and strong ownership of deliverables.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills, including API design, data modeling, and working with server-side frameworks and databases.
- Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
- Candidates should possess abilities in code testing, debugging, and performance optimization, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git), collaborative development workflows, and remote teamwork tools is beneficial.
- Familiarity with building or supporting edtech, gaming, or culturally focused platforms is a plus.
- Robust problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup are essential.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
