Role Description The Financial Analyst role at Hypersoft Technologies Limited is a contract position based in Chennai, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home.

The Financial

Analyst will review and interpret financial statements, prepare periodic financial reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities for internal stakeholders and client projects. This role involves analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and risks, and providing clear recommendations to enhance profitability, efficiency, and cost control.

Analyst will collaborate with project managers, business leaders, and finance teams to support pricing models, project financial evaluations, and performance metrics. The individual will also assist in improving internal financial processes, maintaining compliance with applicable standards, and supporting audits and management reviews.

Qualifications

- Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, build financial models, and present insights clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; knowledge of ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA, CA Inter, or MBA in Finance) are a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in IT, software services, or project-based environments is beneficial.
