JJOB DESCRIPTION: FACTORY OPERATIONS MANAGER GARMENT MANUFACTURING

Location: Delhi (Sawroop nagar)

Experience: 8–12 years in garment production, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.

Salary: 40,000–60,000 per month, based on experience.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM–9:00 PM

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated and experienced Factory Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our garment manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for managing production, quality, workforce, factory operations and timely order delivery.

The ideal candidate must be a multitasker with strong leadership skills, the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and a commitment to achieving production targets efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan and manage daily production across cutting, stitching, finishing and packing departments.
- Ensure production targets, order deadlines and shipment schedules are achieved.
- Maintain product quality while reducing rejections, defects and rework.
- Manage supervisors, line managers and workers, including attendance, discipline and productivity.
- Control operating costs, wastage, fabric consumption and raw material usage.
- Coordinate with merchandising, purchase and store teams for smooth operations.
- Oversee machine maintenance, workplace safety and factory discipline.




- Prepare and share daily and weekly production reports with management.
- Handle multiple factory operations and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Take quick decisions and resolve production-related issues effectively.
- Ensure proper coordination between all departments for smooth workflow.
- Work under pressure and manage unexpected challenges while maintaining production efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

- 8–12 years of experience in garment manufacturing and production, with at least 3 years in a senior position.
- Experience managing a workforce of 350 or more employees.
- Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
- Must be hardworking, dedicated, responsible and self-motivated.
- Must have excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes and factory operations.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict production deadlines.
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
