Role Description: The Facilities Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Nims Hospital in Mumbai. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of hospital facilities, including building systems, utilities, and equipment.

The Facilities

Manager coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, supervises facility-related vendors and service providers, and ensures compliance with healthcare, safety, and environmental regulations. This position manages space utilization, cleanliness standards for non-clinical areas,



and support services such as security, waste management, and parking.

Manager collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to prioritize facility needs, supports emergency preparedness plans, and contributes to budget planning, procurement, and continuous improvement of facility operations.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building operations, and maintenance within healthcare or complex institutional settings.
- Strong knowledge of safety, fire, and environmental regulations, as well as compliance standards relevant to hospital infrastructure.
- Proficiency in managing vendors, service contracts, and procurement processes for facility-related supplies and services.
- Ability to plan and oversee preventive maintenance schedules, asset tracking, and basic familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other critical building systems, with the ability to coordinate technical support.
- Effective leadership skills for supervising facilities staff, promoting teamwork, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Solid organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with capacity to respond to emergencies and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with medical, nursing, and administrative teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in facilities management
