Role Description The Facade Designer will work on-site in Thane in a full-time capacity, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and consultants to develop detailed façade design solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing façade drawings, coordinating shop drawings, and ensuring design details align with structural, architectural, and performance requirements. The role involves selecting appropriate cladding and glazing systems, resolving technical design issues, and supporting the implementation phase through design clarifications and coordination with contractors and vendors.

Designer will also contribute to design optimization, material specifications, and compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Facade and Facade Design, with a solid understanding of building envelope systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cladding and Glazing, including knowledge of materials, fixing systems, and performance criteria.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and coordinating Shop Drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Proficiency in CAD and relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino) and familiarity with BIM workflows is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in façade design or façade consultancy, especially on commercial or high-rise projects, is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interpret and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
