Role: ERP Reporting & Data Support Specialist

Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious professional who enjoys working with ERP systems, reviewing reports, identifying data discrepancies, and keeping business information accurate and organised.

This role involves working with ERP-generated reports, checking data, applying filters, identifying inconsistencies, investigating the reasons behind errors, and supporting internal teams with accurate information.

This is NOT an Accounting, Finance, Data Analyst, or ERP Implementation/Consulting role. It does not involve preparing financial statements, complex financial analysis, large-scale data modelling, or ERP development. Instead, it is a hands-on operational support role for someone who enjoys working with systems, reports, and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) to access, review, and maintain business reports.
- Generate and update reports using different date ranges, filters, business units, sales representatives, currencies, and other parameters.
- Review ERP-generated data and identify missing information, unusual entries, inconsistencies, or discrepancies.
- Investigate minor data differences and coordinate with relevant teams to understand and resolve them.
- Perform routine data clean-up and report validation to maintain accuracy.
- Support internal teams by providing accurate reports and relevant business information.
- Assist with basic ERP reporting queries and troubleshooting.




- Understand how currency exchange rates impact international business transactions and reports.
- Coordinate with international colleagues and communicate findings clearly in English.

Required Skills & Experience

- Prior working exposure to an ERP system is essential. Candidates who have never worked with or used an ERP system may not be suitable.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and basic data filtering.
- Ability to read, understand, and review system-generated reports.
- Solid attention to detail and an ability to identify small discrepancies.
- Basic understanding of international transactions and currency exchange rates.
- Good English communication skills, with the confidence to interact with international colleagues.
- A logical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to investigate and resolve data-related issues.
- Comfortable working in an operational support role rather than a specialised finance or analytical position.

- MIS Executives with hands-on ERP reporting experience.
- ERP Data Entry, Data Validation, or Master Data Support professionals.

Fresh graduates may also be considered if they have practical ERP exposure, good Excel knowledge, strong learning ability, and the right aptitude for the role.

- Accounting or Finance professionals who want to continue pursuing core accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, or financial reporting.
- NetSuite/ERP Consultants primarily interested in implementation, configuration, customisation, or consulting assignments.
- Data Analysts looking for advanced analytics, SQL, Power BI, Python, or large-scale data analysis work.
- Candidates expecting a software development or technical programming role.

Location & Work Environment The position is based in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, in an industrial/business environment. Candidates should preferably be from Hosur or nearby locations, or be genuinely willing to relocate and work from Hosur.
