Field Investigation & Restoration Technician

Location: Delhi (field sites)

Type: Contract, full time

Role Overview 6 months Contract, full-time Team lead of a 2-member field team (Technician + Helper). Carries out site investigation, power and network work, camera restoration and commissioning, and keeps the Field Supervisor updated on time

Key Responsibilities-------- Investigate junction boxes (JBs); record missing items, deficiencies and operational status Install or restore the 1 kVA online UPS and 3-battery (36V DC) string; install or check earthing and MCBs; tap in utility (DISCOM) AC power Install or replace Fixed, PTZ and ANPR cameras (where existing ones are faulty) and set the field of view Install or restore Layer 2 switches; if a switch is not pinging from C2i/C3i/C4i, investigate the cause at site Assign static IPs, configure VLAN tagging and sub-streams; test video output on a laptop Test RJ45 and fibre SFPs; apply permanent weatherproof labels on all cables Attend fault tickets and JB-down situations within hours; coordinate live pinging and handover with C2i/C3i/C4i Report progress to the Field Supervisor on a timely basis

Skills Required------ SFP/RJ45 cabling and testing Electrical wiring and grounding: AC/DC distribution, 36V DC battery wiring,



breaker sizing, earth pit resistance measurement Basic switch commissioning: console access, IP configuration, VLAN tagging Working at height: 3 m ladder, safety harness, man lifter (6 m) Outdoor weatherproof sealing (IP65/IP66) and cable pulling Laptop proficiency for configuration and reporting Qualification & Experience-- ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or IT 2-4 years of field experience in CCTV, network or Smart/Safe City projects (preferred) Valid two-wheeler driving licence; willing to travel locally every day

Provided by Company conveyance support, telescopic ladder, laptop, multimeter and all other tools and equipment required for field activities

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
