Role Description The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components used in Invent’s research and product development projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with circuit design and simulation, performing measurements and basic troubleshooting, preparing documentation and test reports, and collaborating with scientists and engineers on interdisciplinary prototypes. The intern will help maintain laboratory equipment, follow safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of experimental setups.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum,



requiring regular coordination with the local engineering and research teams.

Qualifications

- Solid foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core concepts to practical laboratory and product development work.
- Skills in Electrical Design, including basic circuit design, simulation, and understanding of electronic components and instrumentation.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting data, diagnosing issues, and proposing logical solutions in research and development settings.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for documenting work, preparing reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with standard engineering tools and software (e.g., circuit simulation tools, basic CAD, or MATLAB) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Trivandrum, follow lab safety protocols, and manage tasks independently under guidance.
- Interest in interdisciplinary research, especially in Biotechnology or Material Sciences, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
