Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drone Pilot role based in Chennai.

The Drone

Pilot will operate small and medium-class drones for applications such as agriculture, surveying, mapping, inspection, and surveillance, following company and regulatory safety standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks, mission planning, executing flights, and maintaining detailed flight logs and reports.



The role involves coordinating with project teams and clients to understand mission requirements, capturing high-quality data, and troubleshooting technical issues on-site.

The Drone

Pilot may also support basic drone maintenance, participate in pilot training activities, and contribute feedback to improve operational procedures and drone performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Drone Piloting and Piloting skills, with proven hands-on flight experience.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Drones and UAV systems, including components, payloads, and flight operations.
- Candidates should possess Training-related skills, such as the ability to learn and follow RPTO guidelines and support pilot training programs.
- Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate for relevant drone categories, or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification.
- Working knowledge of aviation safety regulations, airspace rules, and standard operating procedures for drone missions.
- Ability to work on-site in field conditions, including rural and industrial locations, and travel as required for missions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with technical teams, clients, and supervisors.
- Attention to detail, situational awareness, and commitment to safety, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Prior experience in agriculture, surveying, GIS, inspection, or related drone applications is an advantage.
