Role & responsibilities

- Drive the organization's vehicles safely and responsibly for official duties.

- Transport staff, faculty, management, and other authorized personnel as required.

- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as per assigned schedules.

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep.

- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and monitor fuel, engine oil, tyres, brakes, and other essentials.

- Maintain vehicle logbooks, trip records, and fuel consumption records.

- Ensure valid driving licence, vehicle documents, insurance, and pollution certificate.

- Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations.

- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.

- Coordinate with the Administration Department for vehicle scheduling and maintenance.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 10th or 12th pass.

- Valid driving licence (LMV/Transport, as applicable).

- 15 years of relevant driving experience.

- Positive knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.

- Punctual, disciplined, and responsible.

- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
