We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a solid background in GitLab to join our dynamic team at SBI NaviMumbai. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our platform's reliability, scalability, and performance while ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline code integration and delivery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the DevOps lifecycle.
- Document processes, configurations, and workflows for team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on call rotations and provide support for production systems.

Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in GitLab, including CI/CD pipeline creation and management.




- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
- Experience in working with microservices architecture.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, GitLab Certified Associate).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
