Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Platform & DevOps Engineer to join our product and solution engineering team. Our team builds data, analytics, AI, and digital products and solutions across Retail & CPG, Media & Entertainment, Sports, Energy, Telecommunications, and other industries.

You will work with solution architects, developers, data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and delivery teams to deploy, automate, secure, monitor, and operate the cloud environments that power these solutions. The role combines Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and SRE, supporting solutions from development and POCs through enterprise production deployment.

We are looking for someone with solid fundamentals and practical experience in at least one major cloud platform. You do not need to have worked with every technology listed in this document. Curiosity, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to learn new environments are equally important.

Key Responsibilities

•Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for data, analytics, AI, and digital products across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation using Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.

•Deploy and support applications using VMs, Docker containers, Kubernetes, serverless services, databases, and cloud storage, based on solution requirements.

•Support application hosting and cloud configuration, including networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, IAM, secrets, SSO, and access management.

- Set up monitoring, logging, alerting,

and operational processes to help ensure applications are reliable, secure, observable, and production-ready.

•Troubleshoot infrastructure, application deployment, networking, access, and performance issues across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.

•Work with developers, data engineers, AI/ML engineers, solution architects, and client technology teams to take solutions from development and POCs through production deployment.

•Create reusable cloud and DevOps templates, deployment patterns, technical documentation, and operational runbooks for use across products and client environments.

•Continuously improve platforms for reliability, scalability, security, automation, and cloud cost efficiency.

What We're Looking For

•Approximately 2-6 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations, or a related role.

•Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

•Good understanding of core cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, IAM, serverless, and managed application services.

•Experience with Linux administration, Git-based workflows, shell scripting, and CI/CD tooling.

•Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or an equivalent tool.

•Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised applications, plus a working understanding of Kubernetes.

•Working knowledge of DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, firewalls or security groups, load balancing, IAM, secrets management, and basic cloud security practices.

•Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and supporting cloud-hosted applications.

•Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent managed cloud databases.

•Scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or a similar language.

•Strong problem-solving skills, learning agility, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and client teams.

Nice to Have

•Experience across more than one cloud platform or with managed Kubernetes services such as Amazon EKS, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

•Experience supporting SaaS products, multi-tenant applications, reusable product platforms, or enterprise client deployments.

•Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Kafka, or other modern data platforms.

•Experience deploying AI/ML or Generative AI applications, APIs, or containerised workloads.

•Experience with enterprise identity and SSO integrations using SAML or OIDC.

•Familiarity with observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Operations, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.

•Understanding of SRE practices such as incident management, root-cause analysis, resilience, backup and recovery, SLIs, and SLOs.

•Relevant AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, or Terraform certification.
