Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in South Mumbai. This role involves providing day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

The Desktop Support

Engineer will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, support printers and basic networking, and ensure systems are backed up and functioning reliably. The role includes responding to user requests, documenting issues and resolutions, and coordinating with senior technical staff when escalations are needed. The engineer is expected to maintain a professional,



customer-focused approach while working on-site at client locations in South Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Hardware, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and basic networking.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for operating systems, common business applications, and user issues.
- Candidates should possess practical Printer Support skills, including setup, driver installation, and resolving connectivity and print quality problems.
- Candidates should possess clear communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms and work effectively on-site.
- Relevant certifications or training (such as CompTIA A+, hardware or desktop support courses) and experience in field or on-site support environments are beneficial.
- Ability to travel within South Mumbai for client visits, maintain accurate incident documentation, and work independently with minimal supervision is preferred.
