– Floor Console Design Engineer

Experience: 5–12 Years

Domain: Automotive – Interior / Cockpit Component Development Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.

Work Location: Chennai (Work from Office)

Notice period – Immediate – 30 days

Key Responsibilities

- Experience in Floor Console or related automotive cockpit component development.
- Hands-on experience in local development and localization programs.
- Manage end-to-end product development, including concept design, feasibility, detailed design, supplier development, validation and release.
- Proficiency in UG NX or CATIA V5/V6.
- Experience with Teamcenter / PLM and EBOM management.
- Robust knowledge of injection moulding, plastic welding,



assembly feasibility and sheet-metal brackets.
- Experience in DFMEA, DVP&R;, GD&T; and engineering documentation.
- Support NVH, durability and safety validation activities.
- Resolve design and engineering issues during prototype and vehicle build stages.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and manufacturing teams.
