Job Summary An experienced Design Engineer (ACHE) with expertise in the design and engineering of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related process equipment. The candidate should possess solid knowledge of ASME codes and standards, hands-on experience with PV Elite, and exposure to engineering projects in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and analyze Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), pressure vessels, and heat exchangers in accordance with applicable ASME codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Perform mechanical design calculations using PV Elite and other relevant engineering tools.
- Prepare and review equipment datasheets, design calculations, engineering drawings, technical specifications and review manufacturing drawings.
- Co-ordination with AI for design approval & relevant co-ordination with quality teams
- Review 3D models & their integration
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, safety guidelines,



and applicable codes.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, clients, consultants, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review bought out component vendor documents, technical bids and provide technical clarifications as required.
- Support proposal engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering issues during project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proven experience in the design of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), Pressure Vessels, and Heat Exchangers.
- Proficiency in PV Elite and sound knowledge of ASME Section VIII and related design codes and standards.
- Well versed in Inventor & Navisworks
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, process data sheets, and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
