About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DBA Engineer with 8 years of expertise in database administration, SQL performance optimization, and proactive database monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining database performance, reliability, availability, and scalability while supporting cloud infrastructure management and database retention policies.

The role also requires exposure to C#, Entity Framework, PowerShell scripting, and cloud capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain database environments, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability.
- Perform SQL performance optimization, query tuning, and database troubleshooting.
- Implement proactive database monitoring to identify and resolve potential performance issues.
- Manage database maintenance, administration, and operational activities.
- Support cloud infrastructure capacity planning and resource management.




- Develop and maintain database retention policies to ensure effective data lifecycle management.
- Work with C#, Entity Framework, and PowerShell scripting to support database-related operations and automation.
- Monitor database capacity and support infrastructure optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud engineering teams to ensure smooth database operations.
- Support ServiceNow and SCOM integrations where required.
- Contribute to cloud FinOps initiatives and cost optimization activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Primary Skills

- 8 years of experience in Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong expertise in SQL performance optimization.
- Experience with proactive database monitoring and performance management.

Secondary Skills
- Knowledge of C# and Entity Framework.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Understanding of cloud engineering and infrastructure capacity planning.
- Knowledge of database retention policies and data lifecycle management.

Positive-to-Have Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow and SCOM integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud FinOps practices and cost optimization.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure management and resource utilization.
